To get rid of guns, vote out gun backers

Thunder’s Paul George out vs. 76ers with shoulder soreness

He had ice on his shoulder after the game and missed Thursday’s shootaround. He is expected to “take it day by day” and there’s no timetable yet on his return.  The Thunder will be without leading scorer Paul George against the 76ers on Thursday as the forward is dealing with shoulder soreness, the team announced. center_img Thursday’s game marks just the second he has missed this season as he previously was sidelined with a bruised right quad against the Suns on Dec. 28. Dennis Schroder started in George’s absence, scoring 20 points in 39 minutes.George, 28, has helped Oklahoma City to a 38-22 record as it sits in third in the Western Conference behind the Warriors and Nuggets.
