Hungarian Prime Minister Says Islam Has Never Been Part of Europe

Rabat – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban known for his ultra-right ideals, gave some anti-Islam declarations to a German magazine this weekend.According to AFP, the Hungarian leader who is against welcoming refugees in Europe, told Germany’s Focus news weekly that “Islam has never been part of Europe”.Since the majority of refugees are Muslims, Orban has been launching xenophobic and Islamophobic campaigns to oppose some European countries’ decision to welcome Syrian refugees.“The language of the European elite is ideological and dogmatic,” he said. PM Orban claims that Islam does not fuse with Christianity, as it “creates separation and undesired multiculturalism” that affect Europe’s freedom of religion, thought, expression, equality, and gender. “These are cultural values we must defend”.“Spiritually, Islam was never part of Europe. It’s the rulebook of another world,” Orban affirmed. He also expressed his disagreement with France and Germany’s decision to accept migrants without “any doubts” on creating a ‘multicultural society’, and said that will not happen in Hungary.“We in Hungary decide what we want or don’t want. We don’t want that,” he noted.According to the same source, Europe has welcomed 600,000 refugees in 2015, mostly in Germany and Sweden. The Hungarian Prime Minister said that life in Europe, it needs to be earned through work, not given to those in need.“Not everyone is entitled to a life in Germany or a life in Hungary. That’s only for those who have worked for it,” Orban said.“Europe cannot accommodate all those in need,” he added. As a result, Hungary has closed its border with Serbia and Croatia to stop the influx of Syrian refugees.Video footage of Hungary’s inhumane treatment toward refugees has gone viral on social media and has been denounced by UN chief Ban Ki-Moon.© Morocco World News. Regulators ban shortterm binary options to protect Canadians from fraud

CALGARY — Canadian securities regulators have banned short-term binary options, in which investors bet on whether the value of an asset will increase or decrease in timeframes as short as hours or even minutes. The implementation of Multilateral Instrument 91-102 Prohibition of Binary Options makes it illegal to advertise, offer, sell or otherwise trade binary options shorter than 30 days with any individual. The Canadian Securities Administrators said the ban supports its efforts, which include working with credit-card companies, tech companies and advertisers that binary options fraudsters rely on to carry out their schemes.Binary options take the form of a wager in which investors bet on the performance of an underlying asset, often a currency, commodity, stock index or share — after which they either receive a predetermined payout or lose the entire amount. But in many instances no actual trading occurs and the transaction takes place for the sole purpose of stealing money. In addition, those who have provided credit or personal information to binary options sites frequently fall victim to identity theft. The firms and individuals involved in the operation of binary options trading platforms are often located overseas.“Binary options are the leading type of investment fraud facing Canadians today, and the impact of this kind of scam on individuals is staggering,” said Louis Morisset, chair of the CSA and CEO of Quebec’s Autorite des marches financiers.“This ban positions the CSA among the world leaders in fighting back against binary options fraud and represents an important step in protecting Canadians. It conveys a clear message that these products are unsuitable for individuals because of their risky characteristics and that their trading is illegal.”Before making a decision to invest in any product, the CSA encourages all investors to visit aretheyregistered.ca to check the registration of a person or company offering the investment. read more
