Trackers drop weekend games to Peace River

first_imgScoring for the Trackers was Aiden Tegart as he netted both goals in the game. The N.E. B.C. and Yukon Trackers had their hands full this weekend as they took on the Peace River Royals. The Royals occupy first place in their division and it showed as the Trackers dropped both games against them by scores of 5-2 and 6-2.In Saturday’s game the Trackers fell behind early. Peace River opened the scoring midway through the first period, and tallied another two goals to lead 3-0 after the opening 20 minutes. The Royals added another goal in the second before the Trackers found the back of the net to make the score 4-1.The Trackers closed the gap to 4-2 with 11:49 left in the third period but that’s as close as they would get. The Royals added a final goal just under five minutes later to make the final 5-2.- Advertisement -Scoring for the Trackers were Kohlman Brinsky, and Nolan Lagace.In Sunday’s game the Trackers played better at the start but were unable to see it through the end. Peace River took the lead early in the game, however the Trackers tied the game with 12:47 left in the first. Peace River took the lead again however the Trackers continued to battle and tied the game at two.In the second period Peace River scored twice, and scored another two times in the third to make the final 6-2.Advertisementlast_img
