first_img Sometimes it pays to be dangerous. The new revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, starring Tony winners Liev Schrieber and Janet McTeer, played its first preview performance this past week to a full house. The production reached 100% capacity for its October 8 performance and grossed $105,177, making it just shy of hitting its full potential. Should it remain a hot ticket, expect that gross to flirt with the $900,000 mark once it plays full weeks. Meanwhile, Andrew Lloyd Webber celebrated a box office renaissance this past week as School of Rock and Cats both grossed seven figures, while The Phantom of the Opera was close behind. Here’s a look at who was on top—and who was not—for the week ending October 10:FRONTRUNNERS (By Gross)1.
