Two young Palmdale children die in collision

first_imgTwo Palmdale children died Tuesday in a collision in an unincorporated area east of Palmdale, the CHP said. Two-month-old Yailyn Rosales and Ramon Rosales, 4, were passengers in a 1999 Honda driven by their mother, Dalia Rosales, which was northbound on 50th Street East north of Avenue N, the California Highway Patrol report said. According to the report, the driver lost control of the vehicle after drifting into a soft shoulder, and then veered into oncoming southbound traffic when she tried to regain control. The vehicle then collided with a 2000 Volkswagen driven by Sandra Campbell, a 42-year-old Lancaster woman. Yailyn and Ramon were pronounced dead at Antelope Valley Hospital later in the day.
