The successful candidate will havethe opportunity to work as an integral part of an interdisciplinaryteam. Opportunities to teach the next generation of leaders in themedical field are a part of this position. In support of RowanMedicine mission and vision, the selected candidate will provideand manage direct patient care at one or more of the out-patientclinical offices located in the Southern New Jersey area.Working collaboratively with other Physical Medicine andRehabilitation physicians as well Osteopathic Manipulative Medicinephysicians, the Physiatrist provides care to patients seekingrehabilitative medicine, pain management, and outpatient substanceuse and addiction treatment. The physiatrist provides consultationto clinical staff regarding patient care issues, and may alsoprovide patient education to meet the needs of the patient andfamilies. Participates in a collegial relationship with thephysicians, nurses and other health care professionals.
